Global Program for Water for All Support

The Global Program for Water for All Support is the sectoral programmatic framework through which the World Association for Development (WAD) structures its action in the areas of water, sanitation, and water security. It aims to support States and sector actors in the sustainable strengthening of water management systems, the improvement of access to essential services, and the consolidation of water governance mechanisms.

In the face of challenges linked to growing pressure on water resources, the effects of climate change, inequalities in access, and the fragility of hydraulic infrastructure, the Program promotes an integrated approach grounded in sustainability, territorial resilience, and institutional capacity-building. Its scope of action covers notably water resource governance, drinking water supply, sanitation, the protection of aquatic ecosystems, climate resilience, as well as sectoral information and planning systems.

Aligned with international orientations relating to sustainable development, in particular Sustainable Development Goal 6 dedicated to clean water and sanitation, the Global Program for Water for All Support constitutes a structuring framework designed to foster the coherence of interventions, the coordination of actors, and the development of sustainable solutions adapted to contemporary territorial and environmental realities.
