The Global Observatory for Water, Forests and Biodiversity focuses on the protection of vital natural resources and the preservation of ecological systems that sustain life, human security and territorial resilience. It addresses equitable access to water, watershed management, forest conservation, ecosystem restoration, biodiversity protection, pollution control, climate adaptation and the prevention of resource-related tensions.
