Global Program for Human Capital Development Support

The Global Program for Human Capital Development Support is the programmatic framework through which the World Association for Development (WAD) structures its action in favour of human capacity development, social inclusion, and skills strengthening. It aims to support States and institutional actors in the consolidation of systems capable of durably improving employability, social resilience, and populations’ access to economic and social opportunities. This Program intervenes notably in the areas of skills development, vocational training, economic integration, social protection, the empowerment of youth and women, and the strengthening of institutional capacities linked to human development. Its approach promotes integrated interventions articulating social inclusion, skills development, economic resilience, and the governance of social policies.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in particular those relating to education, health, decent employment, gender equality, and the reduction of inequalities, the Global Program for Human Capital Development Support constitutes a strategic framework designed to reinforce the contribution of human capital to the dynamics of sustainable economic, social, and territorial transformation.
