Arab Office for Global Solidarity (AOGS)

The Arab Office for Global Solidarity (AOGS) is an institutional platform of the World Association for Development (WAD) intended to organize the contribution of the Arab world to the global development of peoples. It operates in a context marked by the worsening of humanitarian, social, economic, educational, health-related, environmental and institutional crises.

The AOGS aims to transform Arab solidarity into a structured, credible collective capacity that is open to the world. It acts as a space for coordination among Arab States, regional institutions, international organizations, technical and financial partners, the private sector, foundations, diasporas and civil society.

Its action covers humanitarian work, social protection, education, health, economic empowerment, community development, culture, the environment and dialogue between peoples. Through this approach, the AOGS intends to support vulnerable populations, strengthen international partnerships and contribute to a more just, inclusive and sustainable development.
